Pushed Ektar

I don’t shoot color film very often. I love color but every time I think about shooting it instead of black and white I feel a little sick. For reasons I can’t remember I decided to experiment and shoot Ektar at 400. I loaded a roll of Ektar into my Canon AE-1 in early December but never finished it. Unfortunately, last weekend as I was getting ready to shoot the Women’s Tour of California, I realized I was going to have to use the experimental roll.  As expected it came out with an increase in contrast. The highlights are blown out and some of the shots have a lomography feel to them. I like the way the early shots came out but do not like the color of the cycling shots.
